THE PGRS CLUB HAS DISBANDED AS OF JULY 2026. Our members have decided that since we have been struggling to find new members, we should close the club activities and move on. A lot of the club members have joined another local club here in Henderson County, NC called the Apple Valley Model Railroad Club (AVMRC.COM). If you are in this area or at least close and want to participate in a model train club, check out the website and stop by for a visit.
The Piedmont Garden Railway Society members who are left are continuing to meet for lunch on the third Thursday of the month at Sully’s Restaurant in Columbus, North Carolina, at Noon. Stop and see us if you love trains.
